Abstract:

This survey collects information about employers' use and views of the vocational education and training (VET) system and the various ways employers use the VET system to meet their skill needs. Information collected is designed to measure employers' engagement and satisfaction with the VET system. Highlights in 2019: 50.9 per cent of employers used the VET system, down 3.5 percentage points from 2017; 34.2 per cent of employers had jobs requiring vocational qualifications, down 3.0 percentage points from 2017 - of these, 72.1 per cent were satisfied that vocational qualifications...  [+] Show more
