Abstract:

The role of the Retail and Personal Services Skills Advisory Council (RAPS) is to serve the Barbering, Beauty, Community Pharmacy, Floristry, Funeral Services, Hairdressing and Retail industry sectors in relation to vocational education and training (VET). These industry profiles include: an overview of the industry; supply, demand and skills shortages; emerging technologies or innovative advances; training product issues; legislative or policy changes; and workforce priorities for the next four years.
