Skills for Queensland: great training for quality jobs

This document outlines the Queensland Government's plan to secure the future prosperity of the state through a skilled and adaptive workforce. It aims to address the growing imperative to equip all working-aged Queenslanders with skills that meet the current and future needs of the labour market right across the state. The six focus areas (industry and small business; future skills through an adaptive system; jobs for regional Queensland; quality; inclusivity and the public provider; and better pathways) and key initiatives within these, build on the existing strengths of the training system to ensure planned investment is targeted and responsive to skills needed now and in the future.
