Abstract:

According to a recent New America survey, 88 per cent of Americans view apprenticeship favorably and 83 per cent feel it should be better funded. The recommendations in this policy paper are designed to capitalize on the significant potential of apprenticeship and its renewed public appeal, proposing that policymakers must make it a part of, and not an alternative to, higher education.
