Careers SA framework: delivering high quality career development services for South Australia

The demand for skills and labour arising from stronger economic growth and changes in South Australia's demographic profile require new responses to deliver sustainable employment outcomes, including new ways of engaging marginalised people and making the connections between employers and industries at a local level. Career Development Services are an important tool in supporting transitions to learning, education, further education, training and work; and connecting/reconnecting people to work and to different career paths. This Framework has been developed following extensive consultation with stakeholders from Australian, State and Local governments; public, Catholic, independent, tertiary and higher education sectors; industry and business; and career development providers from across metropolitan and regional South Australia.
