2030 reshaping future: the Fourth Industrial Revolution and developing lifelong vocational competency

This book presents a strategy for building the lifelong job competencies that Korean society needs. Part 1, 'A new future dawns', provides a broad overview of the coming social changes that will encompass the areas of scientific technology, the economy, and the environment. Part 2, 'A new framework for vocational education training and employment', suggests new initiatives for vocational education and training (VET) and employment to effectively respond. These new initiatives aim to spread a spirit of entrepreneurship, enhance the level of technical skills in the population, encourage lifelong human resource development, strengthen the National Qualification Framework, promote the internationalisation of VET, grow the Korean Wave content industry, and promote gender mainstreaming.
