Abstract:
The focus of this refereed, open-access e-journal, formerly the 'International review of research in open and distance learning', is on research, theory and best practice in open and distance learning. The name change from 'distance' to 'distributed' was made to emphasise the increased focus in the journal on 'openness' and particularly on open educational resources (OER).
