Abstract:
This report outlines the scope, nature and depth of UK-Africa educational partnerships. It reflects discussions with individuals involved in such partnerships; the findings from a 2008 survey; a literature review on partnerships in education; and desk research. It identifies principles of management and good governance which have been the drivers behind a number of successful and sustainable UK-Africa partnerships and to inform future partnerships.
