Abstract:

In October 2008, the European Commission adopted a Recommendation on the active inclusion of people most excluded from the labour market, promoting a comprehensive strategy based on the integration of three key and equally important social policy pillars: (1) adequate income support; (2) inclusive labour markets; and (3) access to quality services.
