22nd National Vocational Education and Training Research Conference

This year's conference had more than 40 presenters participating within five breakout sessions over one and a half days and five pre-conference workshops. The program featured keynote speakers and presentations that covered a broad range of research pertinent to the tertiary education sector.

The available conference papers are: (1) 'Integrating LLN into VET Practice Project: a community of practice approach' by Les Retford and Sandra Lawrence; (2) A mobile assessment platform: a shared space for critical discourse' by Christopher Ewart Dann, Elizabeth Toohey and Bill Allen.

The available conference presentations are: (1) 'Intergenerational mobility: evidence from LSAY data' presented by Gerry Redmond; (2) 'Challenging the ideal of curriculum alignment in Australian VET' presented by Steven Hodge; (3) 'Willingness to move: a choice modelling approach' presented by Chandra Shah; (4) 'LLN VET Community of Practice: a model for working together' presented by Ruth Walker; (5) 'Improving student outcomes' presented by Beth Evans; (6) 'The three R's of student pathways: realisation, recruitment and retention' presented by Rose Cutts; (7) 'Enterprise registered training organisations: what are some of the benefits and challenges?' Presented by Erica Smith; (8) 'E-learning's contribution to workforce development' presented by Garima Verma; (9) 'Social equity in VET: what the First National Report tells us' presented by Sheldon Rothman and Chandra Shah; (10) 'Keynote address - CQUniversity: transitioning into Queensland's first dual sector university' presented by Nik Babovic; (11) 'Ensuring good quality data meets industry need' by Brendan Goodger.
