This report was produced in consultation with other peak employer bodies and with the support of government. It indicated that the skills and knowledge contained in the Key Competencies needed to be revised and expanded to reflect the changing world of work and the broader range of skills which employers currently require. This resource is written specifically for individuals who provide competency based training and assessment in the vocational education and training sector. This guide is written as an introductory resource for employability skills. In addition to explaining what employability skills are, it outlines how they have been included in training packages.
