Abstract:

This report presents the results of the distance and flexible education (DFE) capability assessment of the New Zealand institute of technology and polytechnic (ITP) sector. In 2006, the Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics Benchmarking Group was established by the Tertiary Education Commission to review the key shifts expected of ITPs as set out in the Tertiary Education Strategy 2007-12.
