Converse was the publication of the former [Network of Women in Further Education] (NOW in FE), now called Women in Adult and Vocational Education (WAVE), and was produced twice a year. It aimed to promote debate and provide information about women’s learning in education and training. Converse also provided a forum for sharing concerns and achievements among women whose interest is in improving the status of women in society.
