It includes papers in the field of engineering education at European and worldwide levels, in English, French and German, the three official languages of SEFI, a non-governmental organisation whose aims are to develop information about engineering education. The journal examines the economic, cultural, and social factors which influence the education of engineers in different societies and provides accounts of good practice and methodology. It includes research papers as well as position papers and review articles on strategic, theoretical and methodological issues, methodological approaches (assessed best practice), and substantive topics. Special themed issues are published in addition to regular issues.
