Author: Hall, William C.

Abstract:

This publication, written to inform overseas vocational educators about Australia's vocational education system, begins with a brief outline of Australia's political and social structure, and a more detailed outline of its educational system, followed by a fuller description of its technical and vocational education systems. There is a brief discussion of the TAFE client survey recently conducted, and an outline of the current training reform agenda. A brief discussion of relevant major national organisations in the area completes the paper.
