Abstract:
Vocational and technical education and training across OECD countries operate differently because of their histories. Today, however, they face similar challenges. Adapting and expanding this educational sector is recognised as essential to developing a highly skilled workforce, the bottom line of performing economies.
The implications of necessary changes are considered in all their aspects in this publication, which describes different approaches to assessment and certification in a number of OECD countries.
