Abstract:

This publication sets out the national strategy for vocational education and training (VET) in Australia. It is the intended direction agreed by the governments, and the sum of a number of specific strategies designed to deliver responsive, quality, accessible and efficient VET. The strategy is designed as a framework which will evolve and be periodically reviewed. Implementation will be through existing mechanisms, including State and Territory training profiles, national industry VET plans and performance agreements.
