National review of TAFE teacher preparation and development: literature review
The purpose of this paper is two-fold: to examine the vocational education and training literature for the major issues, debates and developments relating to the role of TAFE teachers, currently and in the coming decade, and; to present some of the key documents relevant to initial TAFE teacher education and subsequent professional development. It has been prepared as a component of the major national review of TAFE teacher preparation and development, and is intended to be read as an integral part of that project as well as a separate document.
