Bridging pathways: revised blueprint

'Bridging pathways' (indexed at TD/TNC 62.912) is the Australian National Training Authority's (ANTA's) five-year (2000-2005) national strategy for increasing opportunities for people with a disability in vocational education and training (VET). 'Bridging pathways' (indexed at TD/TNC 62.912) is the Australian National Training Authority's (ANTA's) five-year (2000-2005) national strategy for increasing opportunities for people with a disability in vocational education and training (VET). It is accompanied by a blueprint (indexed at TD/TNC 63.291) that provides an action plan for increasing opportunities for people with a disability in VET. Following a review of the original blueprint in 2003, the VET system's disability reform agenda has been refocussed. The goal of this revised publication is provision of meaningful jobs through training for people with a disability. It outlines five priority areas for action and includes a number of case studies from around Australia. The five priority areas are: progressing a whole-of-life approach; measuring what we are achieving; delivering on the ground; engaging the players; and improving employment outcomes.
