This research was funded by the NSW Department of TAFE. The report details alternative models of curriculum development to assist the Department to choose an appropriate model that will meet the current and future needs for an efficient, effective and streamlined curriculum development process. It examines alternative processes for vocational course development in relation to the identification of industrial needs, the streamlining of curriculum development processes, and the need for flexibility and innovation.
