Abstract:
This study examines where and how NCVER's research has influenced vocational education and training (VET) policy and practice. A model for assessing research impact was developed and case studies of impact across three research projects and one research theme were undertaken. While not a straightforward exercise, this study used quantitative and qualitative measures to identify examples of where research has made a difference across the four categories of knowledge production, capacity building, informing policy and informing practice.
