Vocational education and training issues for people with a disability

People with a disability encounter specific barriers at each stage of the vocational education and training (VET) experience that impede or inhibit some from fully sharing in the benefits to be gained from VET. This paper examines the nature of the training and employment experience of people with a disability so that their position in VET is better understood. It also provides a platform for the discussion of actions necessary to improve the VET experience of clients with a disability.
