This interactive CD-ROM is a resource to assist people working in out of school hours care (OSHC) with workplace tasks, especially those people not confident in speaking or writing English and those people new to OHSC. It covers a range of topics that are likely to arise in the workplace, particularly those that involve speaking or writing to parents or other staff. It is organised into topics such as telephone skills, interacting with parents, cultural awareness, discipline issues and health and safety issues. Each topic has a short case study, language notes, and activities.
