Aged care industry documentation: you can do it

This resource aims to give personal care attendants and nurse assistants in residential aged care facilities practical help in writing up documentation. It begins with a checklist that staff can complete to indicate areas with which they may like help. Other sections require a facilitator to work with staff, and cover: - the documentation that's needed and why it's important - examples of documentation - guidelines for writing documentation - help sheets for various forms and questionnaires - useful vocabulary and definitions. There are also photocopiable masters of handouts for facilitators. The resource also aims to help with compliance with the four accreditation standards for residential aged care services.
