Identity crisis: not-for-profit in a profit world

This presentation discusses how the new economy requires non-profit making organisations to meld their social mission and objectives with more entrepreneurial and business-like approaches. As a result, the Jobs for the Future group has recently adopted a new major strategic objective to help incubate/seed commercial ventures that have a strong social mission. These ventures could be with not-for-profit or for profit organisations. The implications for not-for-profit organisations are also outlined.
