The Working Visions 2001 Conference was hosted by the Western Australian Department of Training and included a team of international speakers, including leading labour market commentators, corporate executives, policy makers and futurists. They led discussions on the future of employment and training in an increasingly technology-driven, knowledge-based economy. More than 1000 delegates from Australia and Asia attended the conference, which ran in conjunction with a Working Visions Knowledge Expo, which showcased the latest innovations in information technology, training, education and service provision.
