This survey was conducted in September 1999 and focused on current students' views on the quality and relevance of vocational education and training (VET) services in Western Australia (WA). The results from the survey are a key component in the Department of Training and Employment's strategy to continually monitor the performance of the WA VET sector. This critical information assists in strategic planning, performance monitoring, quality assurance improvements, marketing, resourcing and annual reporting. The study identified key drivers of satisfaction, significant benchmarks and strategic areas for improvement.
