The industry training plan for the building and construction industry provides information on a range of issues. The plan is a comprehensive review of the industry, setting out the predicted industry changes over the next three years and specifying the training needed to adapt to those changes. Factors such as technology and changing work structures affect training. Training arrangements and structures for the future should consider and be responsive to the changes that have occurred. Issues that need to be identified in relation to access to training are also mentioned in the report.
