The Industry Employment and Training Council (IETC) have formulated a set of training plans which will be used to determine the training needs of an industry which covers the clerical and allied finance occupations within the private sector. The training plan for the Administration, Clerical and Finance IETC mentions the government bodies and private enterprises that provide the training courses. Factors influencing training needs include technological change, economics and industrial relations, all of which form an important consideration for the training plan. Future implications are discussed.
