This paper explains the concept of college renewal, a program used by the Staff Development Section of TAFE in Western Australia as a means of applying the principles of organisational development to Colleges, or sections of Colleges. Problems the program seeks to overcome include: low morale, poor communication, unresolved interpersonal conflicts, inadequate problem solving and decision making techniques, and directionless policy. It does this by looking at the total group rather than at individual members within it.
