This document sets out the strategies that the adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board believes will be necessary if the adult and community education (ACE) sector is to continue to thrive into the next century. Emerging trends and drivers of adult education in the community have been considered whilst developing the plan. The vision is lifelong learning opportunities to the adult and community education sector generating educated, empowered citizens, and a stronger Victorian community. The mission is to lead vigorous development of lifelong learning in the community so that more people can realise their potential as individuals, citizens and workers.
