A regional market: a report on the training market in the North and West of Melbourne

The Office of Training and Further Education (OTFE) established a planning exercise to help identify training needs and to guide the long-term development of vocational education and training in Melbourne’s North-West region. This report will help OTFE develop: (1) a better understanding of the regional training market and its interrelationship with other aspects of urban life; (2) medium and long-term strategies designed to meet the requirements of this market, taking into account its current capacity of TAFE Institutes, private, community and industry providers and the strategic directions of the State.
