The purpose of this document is to assist people involved in developing and negotiating TAFE college budgets by providing advice on the strategic policy directions the Office of Training and Further Education wishes to follow in 1994. It has been developed in large part due to an expressed desire by College and Office of Training and Further Education staff to have improved information available on strategy and policy directions. The document is intended to provide in a useful way both the context for budget planning and more specific direction on major items of policy.
