A learner perspective on proposals for the adult advancement and careers service and Skills Accounts

On 24 November 2008, the National Learner Panel (NLP) met with Christine Doubleday from the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) to provide a learner perspective on the government proposals for an adult advancement and careers service (aacs) and Skills Accounts. This built on previous work undertaken by members of the previous year's panel at an earlier stage of policy development. Section one provides an overview of the proposals as outlined by DIUS. The NLP views and recommendations are outlined in Sections two to five.
