Sustainable development and environmental protection have today become priority goals for governments worldwide. In Central Eastern Europe the Course for Sustainability was established in response to a clear need for capacity building among local authorities. The aim of the Course is to raise awareness of sustainable development and improve the skills of key people in order for them to influence policy making in the future.
