This article describes the Eukona project, which focused on the development of competencies for sustainabilities in vocational education and of teaching and learning materials for vocational education in the sector of food and nutrition. It was located in the European food and nutrition sector and partners from the sector worked for two years to implement sustainability into national education systems by developing sustainability related curricula, teaching and learning arrangements and audiovisual media and tools.
