The contribution of human resources development to migration policy in Ukraine

In 2006 the European Training Foundation (ETF) launched a pilot study on the links between migration, education and training systems, and labour markets. In 2007 the research has been extended to Ukraine. In the latter case a sample of 2,100 people was identified (1,086 potential and 1,014 returning migrants). The results were collected in a database, and have been further analysed by the ETF and local experts.
