Facts about education in Norway 2008 - key figures 2006

This publication offers a snapshot of education in Norway based on figures for 2006. It looks at: number of children, pupils, apprentices, students and participants, by level and type of education; pupils and apprentices in upper secondary education, 1998-2006; number of 16- to 18-year-olds in upper secondary education 1995-2006; pupils who enrolled in a basic course in upper secondary education, by area of study, 1999-2006 (includes vocational courses); number of kindergartens, schools and institutions, by type of education, 2006; educational attainment; teaching and training staff; and educational expenditure.
