The competitive pressure facing organizations today require employees whose knowledge and ideas are current, and whose skills and abilities can deliver results. As organizations compete and change, training becomes even more critical than before. To cope with competitive and technological changes, more organizations are recognizing that Computerized Training System is critical to future organizational success. With this backdrop three Indian organizations NALCO [National Aluminium Company Ltd.], IDBI [Industrial Developmental Bank of India Ltd.], and BHEL [Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd.] are taken into account to study their training activities and the type of training information system they are using.
