Critical reflections on an evaluative comparative analysis of work-based learning through organizational change mechanisms: a study of two public service organizations in Northern Ireland

Organizations constantly change systems, processes or procedures on a small scale almost daily. It is when those small-scale changes become amplified, as in the case of organizational restructuring that effects are usually wide-ranging. The process of adaptation begins with learning at the forefront of change. However, learning involves more than process design and implementation structures, training and development strategies. Learning affects the individual in much the same way as the organization. How can we assist this learning for the benefit of all?
