Broadening the curriculum provides essential background on vocational subjects, qualifications, work-related learning at Key Stage 4 and the Government's Enterprise Education Initiative in relation to the 14-19 phase. The teaching and learning section deals with the recent cutting-edge developments in the development of a personalised approach to the curriculum, assessment for learning and e-learning. The handbook comes in three parts: book 3 covers three topics: a guide for 14-19 providers to the provision of high quality information, advice and guidance; an overview of the issues surrounding equality and diversity, gender stereotyping and under-achievement in vocational programmes; and an overview of consulting learners and learner participation.
