Women and adult education in Canadian society

The focus of traditional adult education research, theory and practice is broadened by concentrating attention on women's experiences in adult education. Feminist analysis raises important questions around power, privilege, and inclusivity. Opportunities for more inclusive educational policies and practices are created when emphasis is placed on women's contributions, viewpoints and experiences.
