The current labor market for the disabled in South Korea is undergoing challenges, as is the career and technical education system for this population of individuals. This literature review analyzed the current career-technical education system and labor market status for the disabled, and highlighted three main concerns: decreasing financial support from the government, the low quality of career-technical education opportunities for people with disabilities, and a disconnection with industries and institutions for the disabled.
