This paper explores the relationships between project management and instructional design. A review of the literature indicates that both project management and instructional design adopt a systems approach. Consequently, a positive relationship exists between the two. The paper also discusses the advantages and concerns of incorporating computer tools in instructional project management. Training implications are offered to encourage further efforts in research and in practice.
