Off to a good start: towards new training structures for young people and new entrants to the Australian Public Service

The Joint Australian Public Service Training Council (JAPSTC) commissioned this report to provide a basis for developing new training structures in the APS for young people and new entrants. It is in the nature of a discussion paper aimed at contributing to the development of new policies and approaches in this area for the APS. It includes a statistical profile of young people and new entrants to the APS and information on differences between young people and adults and what this means in terms of training needs.
