Who benefits from higher education?

The answer to the question 'who benefits from higher education?' has two components. One identifies the types of people who participate in higher education. The other assess the diferences, if any, in the degrees to which they have superior labour market outcomes as a result of their acquisition of higher education. The data utilized in this paper are derived from surveys done in 1971, 1972 and 1981. the sample comprises bout 1000 people who were in their final three years of secondary school in South Australia in 1971.
