The National Conference on TAFE Teacher Education was held at St Hilda's College, Melbourne, from 16-19 August 1981. It was the second such conference assisted by the Tertiary Education Commission, the first having been held in Sydney in August 1980. The conference was hosted by the Hawthorn Institute of Education.
