Open tertiary education in Australia: final report of the Committee on Open University to the Universities Commission, December 1974

In March 1973 the Minister for Education appointed, under section 17 of the Australian Universites Commission Act 1959-1971, a Committee to advise the Commission on open university type education. The Committee issued a draft report in April 1974 and invited public comment. It received 100 comments and its draft report was re-considered in the light of these comments. This is the Committee's final report, extensive recommendations are made.
