This Corporate Plan is presented in two parts. the first part provides essential background information about the TAFE National centre for Research and Development. The second part describes the strategic goals which will enable the Centre to continue to achieve its aims. The Centre has an important role to play in the work of TAFE in Australia, including facilitating and encouraging significant innovations in research and development, and acting as a nucleus for co-ordinating projects of various kinds. The Corporate Plan is intended to assist the Centre fulfil that role by helping to shape the Centre's future directions. That shaping will be possible because of the way the strategic goals have been phrased.
