The provision of post-school education and training and labour market programs for non English speaking people

This paper examines vocational training, labour market programs & ESL courses provided by TAFE and provision under the AMEP. It reviews research relating to educational & training needs of NESB adults and appropriate methodology for meeting these needs. It also reviews Federal policy & provision for NESB adults & provision in NSW, WA and Vic. Major problems are identified & options explored.
